LOC EXTENSIONS
PREPARE YOUR HAIR FOR SERVICE
Get Twysted salon offers a complimentary shampoo and conditioning oil with each service. However, below are guidelines to ensure you get the most out of your natural hair experience.
- Remove braids, extensions, twyst and styling before appointment. Inform your stylist prior to your appointment that you will need take down services.
- If stylist has to remove any of the above you will be charged a take down fee or your appointment may have to be rescheduled.
- Please comb through your hair thoroughly after you have removed your style. You can use a leave in conditioner or moisturizer to soften hair.
- Pricing for take down services is left to your stylist discretion.
THE PROCESS
The process of growing Locs can take months and sometimes years. Loc extensions allows you to have Locs overnight. This is an investment that can be hefty. However, the results are stunning and undetectable. Even those who know “you” will marvel at the realness of your extension locs and will
think you grew your Locs overnight. For a full head of loc extensions Cotton Spiral/Afro Kinky Hair is required. For those who just want to add to their existing locs prices are quite different. Please email to set up a face to face consultation.
Get Twysted charges a flat fee of 500.00 (to neckline). This does not include the cost of hair. They're many factors to consider in determining a time line for loc extensions. How many locs does the client already have? the size and ultimately the length (rate will increase). It takes 10 -12 hours on average for neck line extensions.
Anything beyond that will take upwards of 2 - 3 days to complete service rate will be increased.
Cotton Spiral/Afro Kinky Hair is used for the following styles:
- Styles: Loc Extensions, Two Strand Twyst
- 6-8 bundles is recommended for the above styles
- Factor in the size and color you want when purchasing hair
- WHERE DO I PURCHASE THE HAIR? This is your responsibility.
- Ordering info will be given when you schedule your appointment.
ADD HAIR FOR TEXTURE
Clients who are in the process of locing but are experiencing premature unraveling because of your hairs' texture can now have locs wrapped with out adding length. A consult is needed.
- Hair must be in excellent condition
- Hair must be up to 6 inches long.
- This does not include the cost of hair. 4-8 hours is the estimated time - 200.00
- Loc repair - 2 & up per loc
